Analytical Oriented Therapy

Analytical psychology (sometimes analytic psychology), also called Jungian psychology, is a school of psychotherapy which originated in the ideas of Carl Jung, a Swiss psychiatrist. It emphasizes the importance of the individual psyche and the personal quest for wholeness.  In analytically oriented therapy, the therapist maintains neutrality, relies on clarifications and interpretations as much as possible, and tries to make maximum therapeutic use of the transference. Additionally, the therapist aims to comment on resistances, tries to correlate the transference with current interactions and significant childhood relationships, and attempts to help patients to gradually understand those aspects of themselves about which they are unaware.
